HOW IT WORKS
Our Process
1. Landlord Referral or Approval of Tenant Participation
Participation may begin through a landlord referral or with the landlord’s approval of tenant participation. We work directly with property owners to explain our role, clarify expectations, and ensure services complement lease terms and property management practices.
2. Introduction and Tenant Assessment
We conduct an intial assessment of the tenant to identify support needs and potential risk factors related to tenancy. This allows us to proactively address issues that may impact lease compliance or housing stability.
3. Ongoing Supportive Services and Monitoring
Our team provides ongoing supportive services to the tenant, including regular check-ins and coordination of resources. We monitor tenancy-related concerns and maintain communication as appropriate to help ensure timely rent payments, adherence to lease obligations, and respectful tenancy. We place emphasis on annual recertifications to ensure tentants maintain their voucher eligibility.
4. Early Intervention When Concerns Arise
When concerns such as lease violations, communication challenges, or changes in tenant circumstances occur, we intervene early. We work with both the tenant and landlord to resolve issues promptly and reduce the likelihood of escalation or tenancy disruption.
5. Goal: Stable Tenancy and Reduced Landlord Burden
Our ultimate goal is to support long-term, stable tenancies while minimizing administrative and management challenges for landlords. By fostering cooperation, accountability, and timely support, we help create positive, sustainable landlord–tenant relationships.
